The Minnesota Music Hall of Fame museum is located at First North Street and Broadway in New Ulm, Minnesota. Memorabilia of individual musicians and musical groups as well as photographs of all who have been inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame may be seen and appreciated at a nominal fee of $6 for general admission.
The museum is open April 1- November 1 every Thursday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Please note: Seasonal hours may vary and hours may vary over Holiday weeks. If interested in bringing a group outside these hours, please call 507-354-7305.
Donations of records, tapes, musical instruments, and audio gear are accepted. Call to arrange a drop-off at 507-354-7305.
Support for MMHF is obtained through membership of business and industry as well as musicians and music.


New Ulm was proposed as the site of the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame back in 1988 when the idea originated to honor musicians, educators, ect., both past and present, who have contributed significantly to the Minnesota music scene. The first banquet was held in 1989 and has continued every year since.
Established with categories reflecting the wide variety of Minnesota’s musical heritage, the founding organization is incorporated and trademarked as the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame, Inc.
